Questions

What is Softy?

Softy is a non-alcoholic drink made from British barley and botanicals. Think of it as sitting somewhere between beer and a soft drink. It's full-bodied, bittersweet and refreshing, but genuinely its own thing. A proper drink, just softer.

What does Softy taste like?

Familiar, but different. Barley gives Softy body and depth, while botanicals bring flavour and complexity, all coming together in a crisp, refreshing and satisfying sip.

Is Softy a beer?

No. Softy is its own drink. We use British barley for body and depth, alongside botanicals for flavour, bitterness and complexity. It isn’t brewed or fermented like a beer.

Is Softy alcohol-free?

Softy is non-alcoholic. Some of the natural flavourings we use contain tiny amounts of ethanol, so the finished drink can contain trace amounts of alcohol, but no more than you can naturally find in some everyday foods, like a ripe banana!

How should I drink Softy?

Ice cold. Straight from the can or poured into a good glass. No ice needed. Add a simple garnish if you fancy it, or a spirit and ice for a longer drink.

Can I mix Softy with alcohol?

Absolutely. Softy is made to stand up on its own, but its body, bitterness and flavour work brilliantly with spirits too.

Why barley?

Barley gives Softy body, depth and a satisfying mouthfeel. We use British barley as the backbone of every Softy, helping create a drink that feels substantial without needing alcohol.

Is Softy sweet?

Not particularly. Softy is built around balance rather than sweetness, so it's bittersweet, layered and refreshing.

Does Softy contain artificial sweeteners?

No. Softy contains no artificial sweeteners.

Does Softy contain gluten?

Yes. Softy is made with barley and contains gluten.

Is Softy vegan?

Yes. All three Softy flavours are suitable for vegans.

Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver within the UK only.
