Everyone has a soft side.

The name Softy was never accidental. I have two sons, and I kept thinking about the kind of men I want them to become.

We grow up hearing that being “soft” means being weak, that strength means hardening up.

I want them to grow up in a world knowing that kindness, openness and being comfortable with who you are are strengths too.

Some of life's best moments happen around a drink. Softy started with a simple frustration: I wanted more choice in those moments.

Something with body, character and a proper place in the round. Whether I wasn't drinking, was between drinks, or simply fancied something different.

I couldn't find it. So I made it.

That contradiction of soft and hard sits at the heart of everything.

We make a drink with the body and satisfaction of a proper drink, just softer.

We take a word traditionally used as an insult and wear it proudly.

Over time, Softy can become bigger than what's inside the can, a culture that makes softness feel confident, social and strong.
